JOB DESCRIPTION
- An intermediate-level professional, the Infrastructure Management Analyst is a fully qualified individual contributor who applies a broad knowledge of systems programming/analysis concepts, practices and procedures.
- Incumbents are competent to work on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of more large, complex systems) and perform a standard range of system operations activities.
- The incumbent generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, operating with only general supervision, although errors at this level can cause delay, expense and/or disruption.
- Provide functional guidance to less experienced staff. Provides functional and technical expertise to formulate computer system scope and objectives develops and/or modifies procedures to solve problems using information systems.
- Prepares documentation for computer operations/programs sequencing, performs multiple software functions and supports hardware platforms. Assignments are in technical, scientific and business functional areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Must have at least 3 years solid working experience in SUN Solaris platform.
Must be proficient in the installation, configuration, and support of SUN Solaris, with excellent troubleshooting skills. Must be able to manage projects, and interface with all levels of management. Ideal candidate will possess skills in most of the following areas: SANs, Veritas NetBackup, IBM TSM, Apache, Veritas Cluster Services, SUN Cluster Services, Veritas File Systems, Veritas Volume Manager, SUN Disk Suite
