JOB DESCRIPTION
- To lead a team of Unix engineers in providing installation and maintenance support of Unix system, storage, peripherals and softwares.
- To manage the team to ensure that the target contract SLA's and deliverables are met.
- To supervise and manage case resolution, case escalation and case management with customers, partners, and principals.
- To assist with on-site technical services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiar on AIX System Administration, LPAR configuration, Monitoring Tools, System backup, SAN Storage.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Unix support experience in Solaris or AIX
- Professional certifications in any Unix will be an asset
- Knowledge on Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Application server, DB2, Web sphere, Business Objects is an advantage.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Able to work shift.
